Sponsored: Hair Care Favorites

I'm proud to present my first beauty tips post!  Sponsored by my very own hair stylist, Monica Laws, of RED Salon in Birmingham.  Book an appointment with her to receive your FREE conditioning treatment when you mention you were referred by Courtney Miarka of Closet Fashion Fix!

Monica Laws at RED Salon in Birmingham has seen my hair through more mood swings than the average middle schooler.  The Jennifer Aniston cut (who didn't try it?!).  The "California beach girl" blonde. The layers of fun.  The "I think I want bangs but don't know if I'm ready to commit".  The "natural" look (oops, secret's out!).  Lastly, and most recently, the "I want to grow it as long as I can" phase.  That being said, when Monica gives me her hair care recommendations I listen very closely. And now you can too! She has graciously offered her advice on five products that will keep your hair looking amazing in between salon visits.

Redken Satin Wear
This is a lightweight, heat protecting, blowdrying lotion.

Pureology Essential Repair Color Max
This product is made for color treated hair; it also has UV protection which is great for the summer.

Kerastase Masquintense
This  replenishing moisturizer is a nourishing treatment for dry hair.

Davines Volu Mist
A volume boosting spray with moisturizers, that is lightweight, not sticky or "goopy".

Davines Oi
This oil treatment leaves your hair feeling shiny soft while cutting the dry time in half.

Spring Style

I don't know about you, but I'm ready for the 'Big Melt', aka 'Spring'. All this snow in the Midwest has kept me inside reading magazines and surfing the web- immersing myself in the latest and greatest for when the tulips bloom!

The trends that you can bet will be popping up are stripes, florals, and pastels. And, yes, colorful denim is here to stay another season.

Already have some of these in your closet? Break 'em out and 'Think Spring' with me!
