One Hot and Happy Mama!

I shopped this location:
(there are 45+ across the US!)
Hot Mama
The Village of Rochester Hills
248 North Adams Road
Rochester Hills, MI
48309
p| 248-375-9400

Have you heard of the shop, Hot Mama?  For the longest time I thought it was a maternity store, until recently when I decided to venture in and see what it was all about.  I cannot believe that I haven't heard of this boutique before last weekend!

The store is modern, open, and inviting with on-trend pieces in all price ranges.
Every shopper could find something here.  Seriously.  I found something for my mom, my best friend and my clients...all in this beautiful boutique setting.

From the minute we walked in the door, we were warmly greeted by friendly and fashionable staff.  Sue was the best!  I felt right at home like I had been shopping there for years.  (I like to call this the "Cheers" effect.)

Stay tuned for a shopping event hosted by "yours truly" (me!)  in the upcoming months.  Get styled, save 15% on all purchases, and feel free to bring your kids.  This store is shopper-friendly, mom-friendly, AND kid-friendly!

In the meantime, anyone want to go shopping???

Do you see this accessory collection?! And the lovely ladies who were eager to help and style!

The goodies I couldn't wait to try on.  Some full price, some clearance.
All amazing labels with prices ranging from $38-$138.

 MOMS! This is for you...
THEY HAVE A HIDDEN PLAY AREA.
My daughter kept telling me to try things on so she could play longer.  "You go in the fitting room.  I'm too busy playing." What?!  I had to give her the "5-minute leave warning" to avoid the subsequent whining when it was time to go.  She was having so much fun!

What are those you ask?  Ah yes, PS3's for the older generation that wouldn't be so enamored with the toys.  They have thought of everything!
Here are just a few pics I snapped in the fitting room.  I could've tried on the whole store!

*All opinions are my own.  I was so struck by the awesomeness of Hot Mama I couldn't wait to share.*

Warby Parker Specs Spring Collections

Love your specs?  I am a crazy hoarder of glasses and have become very proud of my "eyeglass wardrobe".  Warby Parker is the brand to know for stylish, affordable, and quality glasses online.  I have been a huge fan for a while now and cannot believe I have been invited to feature this amazing eyeglass brand on my site!  And, as if I can't gush enough, want to know the greatest part?!  For every pair of frames sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need through their non-profit partners.  Do good...see good...look good!

According to their site, "the Warby Parker aesthetic is vintage-inspired with a contemporary twist."  Not to mention, every pair is custom fit with anti-reflective, polycarbonate prescription lenses... and you can try on your frames at home, risk-free!  Read on to see their newest styles for Spring from the Spring Collection and the Palm Canyon Collection

My favorite parts about this collection are the colors and the classic shapes.
I am coveting the Walker in blue.

This collection simply catches my eye with its popular frame styles made of palettes of mesquite, acacia, ironwood, and sand.  You know when you love your glasses so much that you just wish they came in sunglasses, too?  Yup.  These do!

Ettika Jewelry

If you are like me, you probably love a good arm party.  Or two.  Creating the perfect stack can be squeal-inducing.  Lucky for you, I have found just the place to stock up on some new additions!  Ettika is an L.A. based company that specializes in designs driven by the laid-back-luxe lifestyle of sunny California.

Their jewelry has been featured in tons of publications: Cosmo, Marie Claire, InStyle, Shape, Glamour, and Lucky Magazine, just to name a few.  And now I'm the lucky owner of my own piece.  Yikes!

So I'm sure you're wondering, where can I get mine?  Head over to www.ettika.com now! Seriously, I think I searched the site for two days oohing and ahhing over the extensive inventory and unique styles before I came close to deciding on only one. I've compiled a list of just a fraction of my favorites from the brand (there are SO many I like!) to help make your decision making slightly easier! Oh, and be sure to use the coupon code, just for my followers, good for 25% off site wide: EXCL25 .
